Issues with Brandon Marshall?

So the Atlanta PD dropped the charges on Broncos receiver Brand Marshall, does this mean Marshall and his girlfriend didn't have an altercation?  Does this mean Marshall is an outstanding citizen?  Does it mean that Brandon Marshall did not threaten, did not strike, did not batter his girlfriend?  I don't know.  The NFL will investigate and issue a report.  If the NFL finds Brand Marshall did as the newspapers report I think the NFL will suspend Brandon Marshall for at least 8 games and order him to get counseling.

Does Brandon Marshall NEEDS HELP?

Bronco fans this incident and others like it are more important than the game of football.  Domestic Violence against anyone is serious.  It is especially serious when a 230 pound 6' 4" professional football player in the NFL is accused of pushing, shoving, smacking and hitting a lady.  THERE IS NO PLACE FOR THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR!  

RED FLAGS are going up all around Brandon Marshall.  What should be done?

The potential for ANGER... RAGE... ACTS of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE are always their.  All it takes is just one slip and you are right in the middle of a potentially bad situation.  A person who lives with ANGER... RAGE... ACTS of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE is just one slip away from a problem every second of their life.  It is not easy living with the awareness that one slip is all it takes...  Many have been there.  Many have done than.  I have been there.  I have done that.  

So what can be done?  Domestic Violence Counseling does help but DVC only goes so far.  One has to live with a daily awareness of what they are capable of.  As much as possible one has to identify what brings on what opens the door to anger and rage and domestic violence.  Then one has to steer clear of the triggers that have the potential of igniting anger and rage and domestic violence.   One must always be vigilant!! 

I empathize with the victims of ANGER... RAGE... DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!  Who advocates for the victim?  Who stands up for them when a young popular professional football player is arrested and accused of striking his girlfriend?  This is not just about Brandon Marshall.  This is about what he is accused of doing.  This is about physically hurting another human being.  Injuring... battering... striking... IS NOT O.K.!!   The NFL, the owners, the Broncos and each players needs to say this again and again and again...

I feel like the NFL and the Broncos must help Brandon Marshall if  these reports are true.  I also feel like the NFL should impose an automatic fine of a million dollars on themselves, i.e. the National Football League each time a player or coach is guilty of acts of  ANGER... RAGE... DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.  Football is a very physical game on the field.  Off the field NFL players must be good, kind, gentle human beings.
